Beaten and subjected to violence soldier was abandoned in military dispensary for 10 hours
Soldier Aghasi Abrahamyan, 18, who passed his military service in “Eghnikner” military unit, NKR, has been both brutally beaten and subjected to violence, military prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan said today in a meeting with the journalists.
“According to the investigation the victim has been beaten and subjected to violence in the aftermath of which he lost his consciousness and fell down. After some time he was taken to dispensary of the military unit. About 10 hours the victim was left abandoned, without any help. Violence by the head of the dispensary followed the situation and only then the soldier was taken to hospital and died there,” Kostanyan said.
The head of the dispensary is arrested. Kostanyan refused to name him because of security motives.
