Puppets for peace and friendship: International Puppet festival kicks off
The second phase of “Fairy Tale Day by Tumanyan” international festival kicks off today. One week Armenian theatrical groups and the representatives of national minorities will perform in different regions of Armenia, told Armen Safaryan, the head of the festival to Panorama.am. According to the source the festival holds “puppets for peace and friendship” title.
According to the head of the festival the today theatre groups will have performances in different parts of Armenia. They will start from Dsegh, Tumanyan’s birthplace, and finish on September 17 in Yerevan.
The first phase of the festival took place on May 21-27.
