Who are Entertainment’s Highest-Paid Men by Forbes?
Forbes has published its list of Entertainment’s Highest-Paid Men. Only two of the ten men on the list are actors and one of those actors earns most of his money as a writer/director/producer.
Multi-talented Tyler Perry is the first on the list. Thanks to five movies he has cranked out over the past two years and two TV series, Perry earned $130 million between May 2010 and May 2011, which ranks him as the highest-earning man in entertainment for that time period.
Coming in second on the list is producer-director Jerry Bruckheimer, whose blockbusters include the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films and TV’s “CSI,” with $113 million; movie magic man Steven Spielberg placed third with $107 million.
The only musician on the list, Elton John, ranks fourth with a $100 million paycheck; TV’s Simon Cowell is fifth with $90 million; and author James Patterson is sixth with $84 million. The next actor on the list is Leonardo DiCaprio, with 77 million.
