 VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC, is glad to inform that with the beginning of the new academic year the Open Door sessions in the frames of the Career Development Project have been resumed. The first visitors to the company in the new season were the students of the AYB Senior School.

VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian introduced the students with the history of telephone invention and the development of technologies; spoke about the peculiarities of the mobile network, explaining the technical implementation of a mobile-to-mobile call; told about the development of the mobile network from 1G to 4G, and much more.

Special attention was paid to explaining the concept of the Corporate Social Responsibility, VivaCell-MTS being one of the first companies to introduce this model in Armenia.

“In the future, when you take up a responsible position in your career, always keep in mind that any business owes its success to the society first of all. It is because people accept your services and pay for them you are able to develop and grow. The least you have to do as a company is to thank the society by implementing various social projects aimed at the well-being of people. Other very important clues to success are belief and hard work. This is how VivaCell-MTS has achieved its leading position”, - said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.

After the lecture the students were guided by Ralph Yirikian to a tour in the premises of the Company, where they had the opportunity to see a model of a base station, witnessed the work of the VivaCell-MTS hotline operators, saw the Mobile Switching Center, the Service Center, enjoying the warm and friendly atmosphere at the VivaCell-MTS Family.

The tour ended up with a Q&A session, during which the students exchanged thoughts with Ralph Yirikian and got from him answers to many questions.
