92 teachers exposed with fake degrees in Azerbaijan
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Education carried out monitoring in comprehensive schools in 24 regions of the country. APA reports that 92 teachers were caught with fake degrees in those educational institutions.
24 teachers were exposed with fake degrees in Bardinski region, 12 in Kubinski region, 7 in Jalilabad region, 7 in Beylagan region, the others were caught in the remaining 20 regions. Comprehensive schools in another 25 regions are currently under monitoring.
Tia.az reports that knowledge doesn’t count for teacher attestations, it is the size of the bribe that counts. In Azerbaijan, a teacher has to pay 1250 dollars to secure job in a village school and 2500 dollars - in a town school.
