Armenian wrestlers perform good competitive skills in Riga
Armenian wrestlers won 5 medals on the very first day of U20 World Sambo Championship. In the youth team Maxim Manukyan (48kg), Karen Tonoyan (62kg), Mher Karapetyan (82kg) have been awarded bronze medals, Roza Khachatryan (52kg) took the third place, reported Armenian Sambo Federation.
Latvia’s capital city of Riga hosts on October 13-17 U20 World Sambo Championship. Armenian national sambo team also takes part in the championship; our delegation consists of 24 representatives.
2010 World Champion Grigor Mkhitaryan (48kg) defended his status having performed excellent competitive skills.
