Tatev ropeway is 1 years old
World’s longest ropeway “Wings of Tatev” is one years old. During a year, the ropeway served 70.000 visitors, said the director of Tatev ropeway Mister Ghazaryan in a news conference.
Mr. Ghazaryan has said that 10% of the visitors were people from the surrounding villages. The ropeway hosted visitors especially on holidays, when 700-800 passengers arrived to enjoy the beautiful scene from the ropeway.
Everyday the technical staff checks the ropeway keeping it safe and secure for the visitors. Tatev ropeway isn’t only a good chance to develop tourism in the community, but it has contributed to the creation of new working places.
