Exhibition of Iranian goods opens in Yerevan
Yerevan is hosting an exhibition of Iranian goods. The exhibition is attended by Governor of Iranian Markazi Province Shabani Fard, Deputy Governor of West Azerbaijan Province, and Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Chairman of the Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission Armen Movsisyan, IRNA reported citing the Iranian Embassy in Yerevan.
Armen Movsisyan noted that the leaders of Armenia and Iran seek to boost bilateral cooperation in all sectors. According to him, commodity circulation between Armenia and Iran increased by 40 percent in 2010, and such exhibitions promote bilateral economic growth.
The exhibition hosts 42 companies from 9 Iranian provinces.
Note that Iranian Markazi Province Governor Shabani Fard met with Tavush Governor Armen Ghularyan lately and expressed willingness for expansion of bilateral cooperation in agriculture, industry and other sectors.
