Seismologist: There have always been earthquakes, and there always will be in Armenia
Armenia is one of the three most seismically active areas in the world, seismologist Vladimir Balasanyan told a news conference referring to the topic of the recent earthquakes which have aroused much concern among the population.
Reminding the history of our country, the seismologist noted that nothing extraordinary is taking place at present.
“There have always been earthquakes, and there always will be in Armenia, and we should think of how to make buildings and other structures stronger so they will be safe and how to protect ourselves from this natural disaster,” the expert said.
