Two Azerbaijani soldiers killed in “accidents” in two days
A soldier of the Azerbaijani Army was killed as a result of “accident,” 1news.az reported. The incident took place at the Defense Ministry’s military unit in Aghdam region of Azerbaijan. Taleh Teymur Huseynbalazade, 19, was killed by electric shock. Deputy Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Teymur Abdullayev confirmed the fact. Huseynbalazade was drafted by the military commissariat of the Sheki Region in 2010.
Another soldier of the Azerbaijani Army died as a result of “accident” yesterday. An explosion occurred while soldier Aliyev Javid Elshan, 19, was pumping up truck wheels. He died from a head injury.
13 Azerbaijani soldiers were killed as a result of accidents in 2011. Azerbaijan registered 84 deaths in the defense and security sector this year. 9 Azerbaijani servicemen died “under unknown circumstances”, 13 were killed in accidents, 12 died in traffic accidents, 9 died of diseases (or poisoning), 16 were killed by their co-servicemen, 12 committed suicide.
