Armenia-EU sign to Mobility Partnership
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Cecilia Malmström, Commissioner for Home Affairs and Interior Ministers for EU family have officially signed a new Mobility Partnership, MFA press service said.
“European Commission’s suggestion is praised to launch talks on facilitating entrance visa requirements between Armenia and EU, and we are hopeful that the Council of Europe will support the mandate for starting the talks. Armenia anticipates the soonest approval of talks with EU, as well as the agreements on facilitation of entrance visa requirements and on readmission,” said Armenian FM.
Minister Nalbandian has also stressed that the objective of the next phase of the partnership is to lift the entrance visa requirements for citizens.
