Tax burden for small, medium business in Armenia is high
The tax burden for small and medium business is very high in Armenia, said Gagik Poghosyan, coordinator for “Protection of business interests” NGO.
G. Poghosyan said those countries which have declared the development of small and medium business an economic priority create atmosphere contributing to its development, they exempt from taxes.
Asked if Armenia does anything supporting the development of SMB, the expert has said: “If we say nothing is done, we’ll be mistaken. The formation of the council on SMB is a positive step.”
