Armenian-Belgian business forum opens in Yerevan
Yerevan is hosting two-day Armenian-Belgian business forum titled “Belgian Business Week in Armenia.” The Belgian provinces of Wallonia and Flandria participate in the forum.
The Belgian delegation, headed by director for Central and Eastern Europe of Belgian MFA Gunther Sleeuwagen, includes businessmen from Wallonia and Flandria. The Armenian delegation is led by Deputy Minister of Economy Garegin Melkonyan. The forum also hosts President of the Belgian Armenian Chamber of Commerce Valery Safarian and Head of UNIDO Operations in Armenia Anahit Simonyan.
A forum for Flandria delegation will take place on Tuesday. After the official part, Armenian and Belgian entrepreneurs will have separate meetings.
A press briefing will be held on November 8, with members of the Belgian delegation and Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy attending.
