“How to use our capacities, knowledge and experience? This is a question the answer to which has always been searched. An answer to this question is important for the advancement, in order our national desires are implemented, and our place and role in the developed international community are firm,” stated Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan at the Assembly of Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia.

Pointing the national targets, President said: “We target establishment of an organized and confident society, in the center of which stands the man. We must become a society that creates best opportunities to reveal an individual’s creative capacities. This is a constant goal, as every achievement of ours will run new requirements. This is natural and this is engine for our development. A businessman has a mission to combine resources and to create new values. A businessman invests its talent, skills, capital, and he risks creating new working places, employment and revenues.”

President Sargsyan has stressed that geographical features of our country don’t sometimes contribute to the development of business and to the pluralism of activities.

“Generally, small domestic markets limit the minimal volumes of production and supply, and reduce the economic efficiency. This is a fact, but those obstacles cannot disappoint us. The expansion and development of Armenian products and enterprises must take a course to the global market,” said the head of our country.

“We shouldn’t withhold the speedy process of innovation. Business programs and initiatives sometimes have traditional and inert nature. Timidity in revealing new markets and products may be destructive,” said the President.
