Ilham Aliyev ignores launch of sister’s album
Igor Butman Jazz Club in Moscow hosted the launching ceremony of an album titled “The Gallery of Sevil” by Heydar Aliyev’s daughter, Sevil Aliyeva.
The launching ceremony was attended by many famous artists and cultural workers. It is noteworthy that none of the members of Azerbaijan’s ruling family was present at the ceremony. Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu did not attend the event, either, while he always attends all Azerbaijani events in Russia, Azadlig reported. The ceremony organized by Ilham Aliyev’s sister was not even attended by heads of Azerbaijani organizations in Russia.
“It is no secret that Sevil Aliyeva’s relations with her brother are not so smooth. They broke off their relationships after Heydar Aliyev’s death. Apparently their relationships are so damaged that none of the Aliyev family attended the launching ceremony of the album dedicated to Ilham’s and Sevil’s parents,” Azadlig reported.
