Student of Azerbaijani Internal Troops School stabbed
A student of the Azerbaijani Internal Troops School has been stabbed, APA reported citing Sabunchin police department.
Ramil Takhmazov, 31, was attacked by unknown people who stabbed him several times. The student was taken to the military hospital of the Azerbaijani Internal Troops in a grave condition.
Spokesperson for Azerbaijani Internal Troops Tarana Mamedova confirmed the fact to APA.
The rate of fatalities and military deaths in the Azerbaijani Armed Forces has increased abruptly this year. The “Doctrine” Journalists' Military Research Center reports that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces registered 89 deaths in 2011. 91 servicemen were injured in the period under review. Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ non-combat losses amounted to 76. 16 soldiers were killed by their co-servicemen, 13 died as a result of accidents, 13 were killed in road accidents, 12 died from diseases, 12 committed suicide, and 9 Azerbaijani soldiers died under unknown circumstances.
