Illustrated album dedicated to 150th birthday of Fridtjof Nansen launched
Yerevan’s “Academy” Exhibition Hall hosted the launching ceremony of an illustrated album dedicated to the 150th birthday of Norwegian explorer, scientist, diplomat, humanitarian and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Fridtjof Nansen as well as the closing ceremony of the exhibition dedicated to Nansen’s jubilee.
48 works by Armenian classical and modern painters dedicated to friend of Armenian people Fridtjof Nansen were included in the album, released with the support of ArmenTel.
The exhibition has been initiated by the Armenian government, the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese, and the Union of the World Armenian Painters.
