Armenian President: Hopeful Georgian businessmen to grow involvement in Armenian market
“I’m often asked if I’m not bothered when Armenians make investments in Georgia. No, I’m not, as we want Armenian funding be greatly invested in Georgia, and the Georgian – in Armenia: it will make our relations and affairs long lasting,” Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said in Tbilisi delivering remarks at Armenian-Georgian business forum.
President has stated if peoples lack good, friendly relations, economic ties cannot develop, and similar meetings are tended to reinforce them.
Referring to the Armenian-Georgian multilateral relations, President Sargsyan has noted that both countries are moving forward the same direction, that our economies have at least some similarity – both countries lack natural recourses.
President Sargsyan has informed the participants of the forum that Armenia fights the outcomes of global crisis, and that 5% economic growth will be recorded this year. “I’m proud of developing IT field in Armenia, today world giants make investments in Armenia,” said President.
“I’m hopeful Georgian businessmen will grow the volume of their funding in the Armenian market,” President said.
