Armenian premiere at Aram Khachaturyan Concert Hall
The Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a concert at Aram Khachaturyan Concert Hall today. Cellist Aram Talalyan is concert’s soloist. The concert will be conducted by Ruben Asatryan.
The concert features the Armenian premiere of Օ Guarany opera overture by Brazilian composer Antônio Carlos Gomes. The concert program also includes Symphony No. 2 by Brahms and “Cello Concert” by Jivan Ter-Tadevosyan.
The concert has been initiated by the Armenian Ministry of Culture and the Embassy of Brazil in Yerevan.
