Vehicles accumulated in Lars to be moved from today
In line with the instruction of Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, from today trailers provided by Armenia have started moving the trucks accumulated at Verin Lars control point, the Georgian Minister told Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan, according to spokesperson for Minister of Transport and Communication Susanna Tonoyan.
All trucks accumulated at Verin Lars control point because of heavy snow and snowstorm will be transported shortly, after establishment of an Armenian-Georgian joint enterprise. Armenian and Georgian specialists discuss this issue in Georgia at present.
The Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication urges all drivers to travel to Verin Lars only after getting official information about the road conditions.
According to latest data, more than 150 trucks have been accumulated in Lars.
