President Serzh Sargsyan attends meeting of Atomic Energy Security Council
The meeting of the Atomic Energy Security Council is taking place at the moment, attended by President Serzh Sargsyan. The meeting also hosts Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of AESC Adolf Birkhofer, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan.
AESC was founded in 1996, in accordance with the presidential decree. AESC is an independent consultative body under the President established to ensure the safety of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant.
The Council includes internationally known specialists.
