Hovhannes Sahakyan making remarks for Russian elections, Armenia
“I don’t think Russian Parliamentary elections can have a serious impact in Armenia, as Armenians make their choice here,” Republican MP Hovhannes Sahakyan told the reporters asked if RPA would be more careful after “Yedinaya Rosia” lost 15% of votes compared with the former elections.
The MP has said that Russia’s and Armenia’s elections are on quite different platforms regarding the political and geo-political systems. “Here, we also should have a political struggle. The political figure that will present its implemented activities, projects and perspectives for the future, will get people’s assessment,” said the MP adding that “Yedinaya Rosia” managed to keep majority seats in the parliament.
