Azerbaijani expert says Monafeghin backed by Azerbaijani officials
“The members of Baku-based “Monafeghin” terrorist organization are supported by Azerbaijan’s armed forces,” Iranian “arannewz.ir” quotes Azerbaijani expert Akef Hamidov as telling to “Iglar” newspaper.
Azerbaijani expert has noted that the members of “Monafeghin” organization encourage Iranians living in Baku to pass information on Iran.
“Monafeghin targets scientists working in Urmia, Ardebil and Tabriz cities, to use information on them in some terrorist operations,” the article says.
Akef Hamidov added that Iran’s Defense Minister Ahmad Vahid has warned Azerbaijani statesmen during his recent visit to Baku concerning their relations with the organization.
