V. Manukyan: Statement won’t do good
Although similar statements are positive, they cannot lead to factual results, Public Council President Vazgen Manukyan told Panorama.am making remarks on the joint statement released by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Summit.
Vazgen Manukyan has hailed the parties’ agreements towards holding operations to minimize ceasefire regime violations on the contact line.
The joint statement reads: “As one of the steps in this direction, they agreed that further efforts should be made to work on the details of the mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations, which resulted from the joint statement of Presidents Aliyev, Sargsian, and Medvedev at the March 2011 Sochi summit.”
