Hollywood Armenian filmmakers meet in LA
Armenia’s General Consulate in Los Angeles took an initiative to organize an event for Armenian filmmakers of Hollywood. MFA press and information department says Hollywood actors Marco Khan, Ken Davidyan, producers Valery McCafry, Carla Karapetyan, film maker Erik Nazaryan, the founder of “Arpa” international film festival Silvia Minasyan and others were present at the event.
According to the source the initiative focused on the products created by the filmmakers of Armenian descent in 2011.
Armenian Chief Consul Grigor Hovhannisyan granted Silvia Minasyan with Armenian Culture Ministry medal for founding an international film festival carrying an Armenian river name.
