Chairman of the Global Group of Companies Johnny Hon is on a familiarization visit in Armenia.

Mr Johnny Hon is accompanied by member of the British House of Lords, Baroness Caroline Cox and Vice Chairman of the Global Group of Companies Keith Bennett, the Armenian Development Agency press office reported.

The delegation’s mission is to get familiarized with Armenia’s investment field and several branches of economics – mining industry, banking and telecommunication.

The Armenian Development Agency organized a business meeting where the delegation had a chance to meet with representatives of the respective fields.

The meeting was attended by President of the Union of Banks of Armenia Mr Ashot Osipyan, head of the administration of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Mr Karen Ghahramanyan, head of Subsoil Concession Agency Mr Koryun Hakobyan, and Orange Armenia Marketing Director Mr Aram Mkrtchyan.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the investment opportunities in the respective fields and the joint scientific research programs.
