World, European champions, athletes for successful performances receive financial awards
106 Armenian athletes, coaches, doctors, sports organizations that have reached the highest rates in world and European championships in 2011 have been granted financial awards as Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan passed a decision.
Government’s press service informs weight lifting athlete, second European Cup winner Arayik Mirzoyan, silver European Cup winner Hripsime Khurshudyan, Greco-roman world champion Roman Amoyan, second World Cup winner Arsen Julfalakyan, bronze European championship winner Yuri Patrikeev, world youth champions Narek Khachatryan and Rafik Manukyan are among the athletes to receive awards for their perfect performances during the current year.
According to the source world team chess champions Levon Aronian, Sergey Movsisyan, Vladimir Hakobian, Robert Hovhannisyan, Gabriel Sargsyan, as well as U18 champion Samel Ter-Sahakyan have been awarded.
