Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrives in Yerevan December 23
On the invitation of Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan, President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrives in Yerevan on December 23, Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Arakelyan said in an interview with Iranian state-run “IRNA” news agency.
Ambassador Arakelyan, has referred to Armenia-Iran political relations, saying they are on a high level, which the mutual visits greatly contribute.
Referring to the trade-economic circulation volume, Armenian Ambassador mentioned that the volume has been increased by 40% and taking into account the real potential that figure can increase more.
Girgor Arakelyan has stated that energy issue is of great importance for the bilateral relations. The Ambassador has said that issues related to oil pipeline, railway and energy programs will be highlighted during the meeting.
