Armenian women’s national team slips down to sixth place
Armenia’s team lost to China’s team 0-4 in the third round of the World Women Chess Team Championship in Turkey. Elina Danielian lost to Hou Yifan, Lilit Mkrtchian lost to Ju Wenjun, Lilit Galojan – to Zhao Xue, and Maria Kursova – to Tan Zhongyi, according to armchess.am.
After three rounds, the Armenian women’s national team is sixth, with 2 points. China’s team dominates the tournament, with 6 points. India’s and Russia’s teams have scored 5 points, Georgia’s and Vietnam’s teams – 4 points each. The Ukrainian and Greek teams share 8th-9th places, with 1 point each, and the RSA team has scored zero points.
