 National Cinema Center of Armenia has recorded good results in 2011, Gevorg Gevorgyan, the director of NCC, told reporters on Wednesday.

“Our activities are successful, we have some cooperation, attend some film festivals and cinema markets, which has greatly contributed to communicate with famous cinema figures,” said G. Gevorgyan.

According to the cinema center director Armenia can be found in the international catalogues as a film making country. In 2011 the film center has produced 6 films. “Compared with post-Soviet countries we produce more films, excluding Russia, naturally,” he said.

During the passing year the cinema center has implemented various film programs, festive events dedicated to cinema famous people have been organized, the center has participated in dozens of international film festivals, including Cannes cinema market.
