Cabinet approves Tourism Support Program for 2012
The Cabinet has approved today Tourism Support Program for 2012.
Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan noted that the program envisages steps within the RA budget, within the framework of cooperation between the government and the private sector. Exhibitions and other events will be held, information centers will be established to boost tourism in Armenia, the Minister said.
All events will be supported by the Ministry of Economy and the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia.
“However, we will make expenditures provided that the private sector co-finances the program,” Tigran Davtyan stressed.
