Another training aircraft falls down in Azerbaijan
A training aircraft fell down to the lake in Masazir settlement of Azerbaijan’s Absheron district. Absheron district police office told APA that the incident has been recorded this morning. Police said one of the crew members was rescued.
APA reports that the problem occurred when the “Cessna” training aircraft was flying to Zabrat Airport. As there were residential sections around, the crew landed the aircraft to the lake. There were 2 people on board. The reason behind the problem is unknown.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani news agencies name different planes. APA writes about “Cessna” aircraft while 1news.az writes about AN plane.
We will remind that this is not the first case when a plane falls down in Azerbaijan. Military aircraft Su-25 crashed during a training flight in Kyurdamir region of Azerbaijan on February 3, 2011. The pilots baled out.
