Gagik Minasyan: Armenia’s economy enters new development stage
The main economic indicators named by the National Statistical Service in its annual report for the first 11 months of 2011 allow us to say that Armenia’s economy enters a new development stage, member of RPA parliamentary faction, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan told a news conference in Yerevan, summing up the economic indicators of the passing year.
“Tax revenues for the first 11 months of the year exceed last year’s level. We should establish that economic rehabilitation proceeds speedily,” said the official.
The parliamentarian stressed the importance of economic diversification, with the prognoses of the second stage of the global financial crisis.
Armenian goods become more competitive both abroad and inside the country, Minasyan noted, praising government’s efforts in this direction.
