Armenian women’s national team beats Vietnam’s team
Armenia’s team beat Vietnam’s team 2,5:1,5 in the 8th round of the World Women Chess Team Championship in Turkey. Elina Danielian beat Pham Le Thao, Lilit Mkrtchian - Hoang Thi Bao Tram, while Maria Kursova lost to Nguyen Thi Mai Hung and Nelly Aginian ended in draw with Hoang Thi Nhu. Armenian chess federation news site reports our team shares the 6th-7th places with Vietnam’s team, with 6 points.
China’s team continues to dominate the tournament, with 14 points, although has lost to Ukraine’s team first time in this championship. Russia’s team is the second, with 12 points and India’s team is the third, with 11 points.
The teams of Ukraine and Georgia have scored 10 points each and share the 4th-6th places.
