Khachaturov: Ceasefire violations by enemy became more frequent in 2011
“Azerbaijan keeps making bellicose statements, accompanied by policy of militarization. In order to respond rightly to enemy’s provocations, we should always be alert, keep our armed forcers prepared, which is possible by everyday hard work, efficient use of resources and strengthening the discipline,” Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told the board meeting of the Ministry on Tuesday.
The Defense Ministry press office reports that Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov gave a report on the work done to raise preparedness of the Armenian Armed Forces. According to him, ceasefire violations by the enemy became more frequent in 2011compared to previous years but the Armed Forces of Armenia responded to the infringements adequately.
