Dink’s murder trial judgment may be issued Jan 17
Turkish “Radikal” newspaper says on January 17 a judgment may be issued to wrap up Hrant Dink’s murder trial that lasts for almost 5 years.
According to the source Ryustem Eryilmaz, chairman of judicial council, stated that on January 17 all the solicitors will be present at the hearing as a judgment may be released. Dink’s lawyers didn’t like the decision as they were sure a poor judgment would be released in this phase.
One of Dink’s lawyers Arzu Bejerik said that some people were not still questioned and recordings from Ministry of Communication were not investigated.
Bejerik imposed those recordings unveiled that Ogyun Samast was not on his own and that this fact hasn’t been appropriately investigated.
Hrant Dink was murdered on January 19, 2007 in Shishli, Istanbul near “Agos” office.
