In the sixth round of the highest league tournament of 72nd Armenian Men’s Chess Championship Hrant Melkumyan drew with Arman Pashikyan and continues to dominate the tournament, with 4 points. Robert Hovhannisyan beat Artashes Minasian. Hovhannisian is currently second, with 3.5 points. Zaven Andriasian also has 3.5 points. He beat Levon Babujian in the sixth round, according to armchess.am.
Nelly Aginian withdrew from the highest league tournament of Armenian Women's 67th Championship. Maria Kursova has scored 5 points. Anna Hairapetian also has 5 points. She beat Lia Martirosyan in the sixth round. Evgeniya Doluhanova is third, with 3.5 points.
