Azerbaijani citizen crosses contact line into Artsakh
On January 23, at 15:25 local time NKR Defense Army servicemen on duty detained an Azerbaijani citizen while he was crossing the contact line in the northeastern part into Artsakh. The detained citizen wore a uniform of Azerbaijani armed forces serviceman, had no distinctive signs. He had a certificate of military service, born in 1990, resident of Lenkoran region of Azerbaijan, Junior Sergeant Akhundzade Mamedbagru Talib-oglu.
The authorized bodies of NKR are trying to find out the circumstances of the incident.
The NKR authorities have informed the ICRC and OSCE Offices in Stepanakert about the incident, NKR State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons reported.
