Guti set to move to Schalke
Spanish midfielder Guti appears to be on his way to Schalke after reaching an agreement with the Gelsenkirchen outfit about a contract until the end of the season, AS reports.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has been a free agent ever since he left Besiktas in November 2011, and was initially expected to continue his career outside of Europe.
However, the prospect of being reunited with former Madrid team-mate has now reportedly made him decide to move to Schalke instead.
Guti has already agreed terms with Schalke about a six-month deal, and will travel to Gelsenkirchen this week to put pen to paper, Goal.com reported.
