A. Iskandaryan: Sarkozy will sign, Turks will gulp it
Expert Alexander Iskandaryan doesn’t doubt French President Nicolas Sarkozy will sign the legislation passed by the Senate.
“Hence, we could treat the legislation as a ratified law,” A. Iskandaryan said during Yerevan-Moscow teleconference.
The legislation is not only significant for Armenians, as the nation will mark 100th anniversary of Genocide in three years, but it is important for Turkey and Azerbaijan in the region and for Europe.
“This political decision has left France’s borders. Genocide train has moved on and it’s impossible to stop it any longer,” A. Iskandaryan said adding that Turkey would “gulp” this process also.
