Hurriyet: Investigation to be launched against judge, prosecutor over Dink’s verdict
Turkey’s Supreme Council of Judges and Prosecutors are intended to launch an investigation against Ryustem Eryilmaz, president of an Istanbul court, and prosecutor Hiqmet Ustay, who were engaged into “Agos” daily founder Hrant Dink’s assassination trial verdict, Turkish “Hurriyet” daily reported.
Supreme Council Assistant Secretary General Neslihan Ekiniji has stated council’s decision came after local media outlets published deeply alarming stories over the judgment. Those stories claimed that the real organizers and criminal group has been left unpunished.
