Azerbaijan confirms serviceman crossing contact line
Panorama.am had reported that on January 23, at about 15:30 an Azerbaijani contract serviceman, Sergeant Mamedbagrlu Talib ogli Akhundzade yielded himself prisoner to the NKR Defense Army forces in the northeastern part of contact line between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops.
Secretary of State Commission on Prisoners, Hostages and Missing Ctizens of Azerbaijan Shahin Sayilov confirmed the fact to Day.az. He also said that the soldier served at a military unit in Tartar region of Azerbaijan.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry had confirmed the information.
