Azerbaijan halts gas supply to Turkey
Azerbaijani “Soqar” company has halted natural gas supply to Turkey, Iranian “MEHR” news agency reported.
It’s said that every day Azerbaijan sends 18 million cubic meter of gas to Turkey. It’s reported that Russia has als reduced the natural gas resources to be exported to Turkey, thus making Turkish “Butash” company to increase gas import from Iran.
Iranian media reported earlier that Turkish Minister of Energy and natural resources urged Iran to reduce gas price that Turkey imported, otherwise Ankara would appeal in the international court.
