 Political Developments Research Center has carried out a pre-election survey including three different queries asked to 1200 people from Yerevan and Armenian regions who have voting right.

The center reported that only those parties represented in National Assembly have been mentioned in the survey; among them are Republican Party of Armenia, “Prosperous Armenia”, ARF-D, “Rule of Law”, “Heritage” as well as People’s Party and Armenian National Congress (HAK).

The survey participants were asked about the attitude towards the party – warm, cold, neutral. From 100 possible RPA got 65 points, Prosperous Armenia – 52, ARF-D – 28, Rule of Law – 20, Heritage – 44, People’s Party – 3 and HAK – 51 points.

Asked to assess the activities of the parties, RPA got 6 out of maximum 10 points, Prosperous Armenia – 3, ARF-D – 1, Rule of Law – 1, Heritage – 3, People’s Party – 1 and HAK – 3 points.

Asked “if the elections were held during the poll, who would you vote for?” 34% of the survey participants would vote for RPA, 21% for Prosperous Armenia, 3% for ARF-D, 2% for Rule of Law, 7% for heritage and 13% for HAK. People’s Party got 0% of votes and 20% didn’t decide yet.

The center is intended to hold 2 similar polls prior to the parliamentary elections.
