Iranian media: Azerbaijani diplomat proud of gay-parade
Azerbaijani diplomat is proud of “gay-parade” to be held in Baku, Iranian “rajanews.com” reported.
According to the source, advisor of Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran Ebrahim Ghafarov said in a conference that the gay parade to be held in Baku during Eurovision international song contest is a proof of freedom of speech in Azerbaijan.
“It’s worth noting that the impudent view of Azerbaijani senior diplomat has been expressed during an event organized in the University of Tehran where Iran’s MFA diplomats were present,” Iranian media concluded.
Iranian “FARS” news agency mentioned in another story that the gay-parade was to be held when rallies were banned after Ilham Aliyev took the power.
