Haber7.com: Sarkozy asks Jewish community to support Genocide bill
According Turkish “Haber7.com” news site French President Nicolas Sarkozy has applied to the Jewish community in France to back the criminalization of Armenian Genocide bill.
“Turkey is a big country. Yet any country should have the courage to look back to the dark and sunny pages of its history. If Turkey faces with its history, he will be more honored. I wish you could think about this. If in this country anybody dares to deny genocide, then one day Jewish genocide will also be denied,” Sarkozy said in a meeting with France’s Jewish community.
According to the source it’s believed if the constitutional court doesn’t approve the genocide denial bill, another law on Jewish genocide will also be suspended.
