Victoria Azarenka No 1
Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka of Belarus retained first place in the women's tennis rankings issued on Monday by the WTA. And Russian Maria Sharapova moved into second.
Azarenka has 8,585 points and Sharapova has 7,680 to move ahead of Czech Petra Kvitova (7,320).
Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic of Serbia maintained first place and there were no changes in the top 10 of the latest men's tennis rankings issued on Monday.
Djokovic has 13,630 points to lead from Spain's Rafael Nadal (10,435) and Roger Federer of Switzerland (8,010).
