Manchester City complain to UEFA over Porto fans' monkey chants
Manchester City have made an official complaint to UEFA after Mario Balotelli was racially abused by Porto fans, Mirror Football reported.
Balotelli was subjected to monkey chants three times during City's 2-1 Europa League win over the competition's reigning champions in Portugal, and it is understood he heard the abuse.
City officials were shocked when they heard the taunts and a spokesperson revealed that they immediately complained to the UEFA delegate.
UEFA will investigate the abuse and Porto could be fined if their fans are found guilty.
