Who will be first lady in RPA?
According to the new Electoral Code, there must be female candidates in every fifth place of parties’ proportional representation lists, leaving out the first place, that is to say the first female candidate is to be sixth on the list.
168 Zham reports that female candidates fight fiercely for 6th place on RPA’s proportional representation list. The candidates for that place are Hermine Naghdalyan, Chairwoman of RPA Women’s Council, MP Karine Achemyan and Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan.
Asked who will be the first lady in RPA, party’s spokesperson Eduard Sharmazanov said, “The party has not yet discussed the proportional representation list, neither have we discussed this issue.”
