FARS: Israel takes preventive measures banning Baku to use its armaments against Armenia
Israel takes preventive measures in order Azerbaijan cannot use Israeli armaments against Armenia, Iranian FARS news agency reported.
The decision came after Baku signed a $ 1.6 billion military armament contract with Israel. Israeli experts left for Baku to train local military officers to use those weapons and to prevent their use against Armenia during a potential military attack.
Iranian media informs Baku is pledged to cooperate with Mossadi, which made Iran to send a protest note to Azerbaijan.
It’s believed some Azerbaijani politicians described the purchase with Israel a strategic mistake.
